Powertrain
Get the power you need, contained in the Jeep Wrangler’s reliable 3.8L overhead valve 60-degree V6 engine.

The 3.8L V6 maintains higher torque at speeds above 3,400 rpm, allowing for an expanded operating range.

Towing
You already know that Jeep® Wrangler allows you to conquer any terrain, but it also has a healthy 2,000-pound towing capacity when properly equipped.

Available Trailer Sway Control (TSC) works with Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Antilock Brake System (ABS), alternating brake pressure to automatically correct oscillation in the vehicle trailer system. The ESC function lamp will flash when TSC is activated.

TSC benefits:

• Reduces trailer sway
• Improves handling in adverse towing conditions caused by crosswinds and traffic

We’re confident in our vehicles and we’re backing them with a new 5-year / 100,000-mile powertrain limited warranty. The powertrain limited warranty covers the cost of all parts and labor needed to repair a covered powertrain component – engine, transmission and drive system – on most new Dodge, Jeep® and Chrysler vehicles. Coverage now also includes free towing to the nearest Dodge, Jeep® or Chrysler dealer, if necessary. The warranty is transferable too, so if you sell your vehicle during the warranty period, the new owner will still be covered.

Plus, our 3-year / 36,000-mile Basic Limited Warranty provides bumper-to-bumper coverage for your vehicle, from the body to the electrical system.

Accident Avoidance
During extreme steering maneuvers, the Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system helps maintain control by sensing when the vehicle is starting to over- or understeer. The system automatically applies individual brakes or controls the throttle to help you stay safely on course.

Electronic Roll Mitigation (ERM) uses innovative motion sensors that determine when a rollover may occur and applies braking force to the correct wheel or wheels to reduce the likelihood of such an accident.

Other accident avoidance features include:

• All-Speed Traction Control with special calibrations for driving in 4WD 4LO. Applies the brakes more aggressively and for longer duration than traction control.
• Antilock Brake System (ABS) with a unique rough road detection system
• Brake assist system, which applies maximum braking power during panic braking
